Happy 7th Birthday Ally!
To start her spectacular 7th birthday, she woke up at 8am and demanded she open her presents right then, so, in her PJ's on my bed half asleep she opened them. Then I made her whatever she wanted for breakfast, only bacon! Ally is not the best eater in the world, she could live on donuts, icecream and candy!
Well, Ally has been wanting a sleepover for some time and Kevin finally talked me into it. So, we thought we would invite 7 girls, but actually ended up with 9? I was very nervous so I hired one of our babysitters, Felicia (she is the best!!) to help! If I could have one ounce of energy those girls had I would be the happiest mother in the world. Everything was Wizards, Selina Gomez, including music, decorations, cake, songs, ect... Things got a little loud at times, but then simmered down when I told Ally I would send them all home! After taking flashlights, TV and DS games away at 11:30pm and letting them know NOT to
come down to my room anymore, they went to sleep at Midnight.
Two of the girls left early because the other girls were too loud! The one little girl told me that Ally was not very well behaved on her birthday party, why was she so loud! (She doesn't know that Ally is always loud? If anyone has tips to quite her down that are LEGAL let me know!)
Ally is the happiest child on earth (her words) and very grateful to Mom and Dad! We are all a little tired today but her happiness is well worth it. For those of you thinking of sleepovers, here is my advice: Wait until they are 9, they are much more independent and entertain themselves, hey, what's one night of no sleep compared to your child's happieness!
